Hmm its been a while since i ordered here, so i forget what it was like specifically. however, it was ok, in the west philly sense. certainly worth a retry with more people around to eat it… look for a second review.

Well going even farther west didn’t help. Bobby’s had potential but the crust was shit and thats pretty important.

Well we’re getting a bit better. Just a bit, mind you, so don’t go getting excited. This pizza didn’t make me wish i hadn’t ordered it like South Side did, and it had pretty good reheat value the next day. Make no mistake, though, my expectations are low at this point. Good West Philly Pizza where art thou? I’m looking for some pizza that’s the john.

In my attempt to find decent pizza in West Philly, i’m going to rate a new place every time i order pizza. Lets start with this one.

Well, this pizza wasn’t very good, but hey, its west philly, so what did I expect. My quest for even decent pizza continues.

Sauce to Cheese ratio: 1/9 way too much cheese, and it was thick and artificial tasting.

So I got this Sony Bluetooth headset, and its a piece of crap. Its basically a really cool headset with the shittiest ear clip every designed (I kid you not its literally just a light weight plastic clip from one of their over the ear headphones).

The problem is its a bluetooth headset, not a tiny head-phone, so gravity just pulls the thing off of your ear. Not to mention that the clip doesn’t take into account the fact that a human head is not a cube. The angle of the clip is just straight out the back, no curve to make the mic point towards your face instead of out over your shoulder. I couldn’t get it to stay on my ear properly even if i tilted my head on its side.

this is really a horrible product from sony and they should be ashamed of it. I hope Apple takes over the portable entertainment market and leaves sony wondering why yellow walkmans never caught on.

I saw Princess Mononoke yesterday, and it was great! I didn’t expect it to be as good as Spirited Away, but it was possibly better. The plot had so much going on, and the animation was so detailed. I recommend watching this movie, and if you do, use the original Japanese audio, with literal english subtitles (not the english for the hearing impaired which syncs with the english audio)

The good news is about lubricants.There is a book called The Big Bang by Verve Magazine. And no, it is not about the origins of the universe. It’s about that other big bang. My eyes were opened by some great information about lubricants. I decided that you all need this information. First of all, they recommend water based lubricants because they can be used w/ latex products and silicone toys. They don’t recommend lubes containing glycerin because they can irritate the vagina. Also, water based lubes are tasteless (unless they are flavored), odorless, nonstaining and non-iritating. Here is a list of reviewed lubes. Have fun.

i just saw the x-men 2 movie.. i wasn’t expecting much, seeing i didn’t like the first much, but i must say.. i did enjoy the film.

i recomend checking it out if u have the time…

So just this past weekend I went to see Dream Catcher with a few friends of mine. Actually I went to see Dream Catcher because there was an Animatrix movie before the “Feature Presentation.” Anyway, to make a long, horribly ridiculous story short, Animatrix was the whole worth of my movie ticket and it kicked ass! Dream Catcher was painful to watch.

So if you want to see the Animatrix in all it’s glory, go buy a ticket to Dream Catcher and walk out right after Animatrix.

I just saw Unbreakable for the first time. (In case you didn’t know, i’m pretty out of touch with most pop culture)

It was very good. I just realized that the same guy, M. Night Shymalan, did Signs and the 6th Sense too.

6th sense was pretty good, but i had the ending ruined for me by some movie critic, so I didn’t get the full experience. I thought Signs and Unbreakable were both very good, though. They both take an overdone genre and do it in a totally new way that looses most of the cliches for that genre. And of course Mr. Shymalan has a nice habit of doing his movies in Philadelphia, which is cool by me, yo.

Oh, and will you damn tourists stop asking me where the Rocky statue is? They moved it ages ago, and its got to be the least interesting thing to see in philadelphia. Hell the liberty bell is more interesting, because you can listen to a little speech about it, in 1 of 14 different languages.

My friends dragged me to see that jack nicholson movie “About Schmidt” tonight.

i expected it to suck, but not as bad as it did. it was so predictable, down to every detail, and all of the funny stuff was in the trailer, so i had seen the good parts already.

the only thing i enjoyed about the movie was that a bunch of yuppies from the burbs all came in to the city to see a ritzy movie with jack nicholson on the weekend before christmas, and they all wasted their money. ha ha! stay out of my city!
