The Liberal Media… yeah 

I never saw Three Kings, but apparently its got an anti-war sentiment, and Warner is preventing the movie from being released on DVD until after the elections.

I just saw The Corporation, which features Noam Chomsky and others talking about how a corporation’s number one priority is to make value for its shareholders, at all costs. It then goes on to show some of the atrocities committed while pursuing that objective. (Such as privatizing the water of some small country and getting the government to make it illegal to catch rain water.)

As if that weren’t bad enough, now it seems they only stray from that objective in order to manipulate the world. I was kind of hoping more companies would be like Interface Carpets (featured in the documentary) who have decided to put sustainability as a priority, not world domination.

Country music radio full of pro-war songs 

You might think that this article is implying that country music and the people who listen too it are all war-hawks, but its actually about how the country music community is evenly split on pro and anti war songs (IE the music has no connection to people’s opinions).

It turns out that the anti war songs, even by very established artists, went no where. I’m inclined to think thats because of the companies (company?) that own the stations and not the taste of the listeners.
