I’d like to see a comparison chart of education spending, etc.

I’d like to point out that the US is also militarily involved all over the world. Most countries aren’t. Whether you think that’s good or bad, I don’t care. But it explains the numbers. There is alot of fat to trim in the military budget though, mostly on pork barrel projects that senators and representatives send back to their districts. More money (in terms of percentages of the military budget) needs to be spent on the troops, not fancy equipment. They want to improve rention of experienced non-coms? Increase the pay of the enlisted men so that they don’t have to rely on welfare.

Well, that’s one reason why I would like to see graphs comparing education spending from different countries. And I’d like to see it as a percentage of GDP. Especially for the rogue nations. I think the result would be telling.
